Hi, I’m a 17 year old female who is losing weight. I have finally figured out my workout, but I want to know when do I go from burning fat (during cardio) to burning muscle. And how do I check what my optimal heart rate is for burning fat?

As far as I know, you don’t ever really burn muscle when you’re working out, but, it’s best to work out during the week, then take a break over the weekend so that your body can repair and possibly replace anything torn.
